African Diasporan – refers to a person who has strong ties to Africa, often through birth or heritage, and lives outside of Africa.
Soukayna Remmal
Research and Communications Associate at International Centre for Tax and Development
Soukayna is an emerging voice in the sustainable urbanization space. She recently completed a Graduate Research Fellowship at the School of Cities, University of Toronto where she focused on sustainable urbanization as an enabler of structural transformation in Africa. She truly brings a global perspective having grown up in Fez, Morocco, lived in Europe and now being based in Toronto, Canada.
